General

  • We have modified a lot R.P.O.S files, you're advised to use the standard R.P.O.S / HUD or adust your custom HUD to fit the changes / new layout.

Gameworld & Content

  • Neocron's Christmas season started!
  • Fixed incorrect item description for the Law Enforcer Chip;
  • Introduced a third generation to the nanite heal tool for GenTanks - "Biotech Personal Injector V3";
  • Updated several mob loot tables to include the parts for the tool;
  • Added Added new 2x2 junk - "Plant Fibers"
  • Mech Haven:
    • Reduced mob density by a further 30% (weighted more to the back of the dungeon);
    • Introduced more space between spawns to reduce chance aggro'ing multiple sections;
    • Renamed Cyborg GD103 to Cyborg GD500 and increased damage by approx +40%;
  • Increased drop rate of Ceres modules (Spidercave) - The Queen now has a 100% drop chance for Ceres modules;
  • Re-named "PSI Power" to "Psychic Power" (F5 Skill-Window - that only applies for a non-modified HUD);
  • Fixed incorrect worldmodel in E03, you can't sit in the wall anymore;
  • Fixed broken recipe for the "Reasearch Glove" (FA HN Database);
  • Fixed a safespot inside the spider cave;
  • Fixed Soulcluster/Apparition hitbox;

Graphics

  • Reworked over 500 world textures;
  • All indoor Sectors have been updated with HD textures;
  • Fixed one-sided leaves of Flower2;
  • Fixed incorrect Mechbeetle texture;
  • Adjusted the bone positions of various models for lighting changes;
  • Adjusted textures of following models:
    • Canyon Cave Entrance;
    • Swamp Cave Exit;
    • Worm Tunnel Exit;
  • Adjusted textures and several other issues in the following maps:
    • Subway;
    • Outzone Station;
    • Desert Underground City 2;
    • All Outpost Buildings;
  • Created better quality temp effect icons;
  • Fixed stealth effect icon;

Server & Client Updates

  • When you fully PAD a team member their team/clan tag is outlined in white;
  • Team/clan health bar looks slightly different;
  • Team RPOS window contains simple buff indicators (P A D R C S), loot rights, and clan tag options;
  • The temp effect progress bar now represents the percent time complete. (player requested). Note that we had to remove some detail from the icons to fit this;
  • Temp effect icons now show time remaining in seconds;
  • Drug effect icons now display thier drug icon, drug name, and time remaining;
  • Added a new slim HUD setting to the options window to reduce the bloat in the main UI. This can also be used to toggle custom HUDs on demand. Command "/config rpos.slimhud true";
  • Added new HUD feature called target info. Player health and/or effects are now visible in the HUD when a player is targeted. This setting can be toggled for all players/NPCs (health only), team/clan (health and buffs including negative effects), and turned off. Command "/config rpos.targetinfo xxxx". Setting also added to options window;
  • Fixed bugs where temp effect icons would not stack or stacked non-matching effects (these were an edge cases and probably not noticed);
  • Added music/sound to the options window. Players can enable/disable and adjust volume in game;
  • Fixed bug that caused certain text to appear red;
  • Fixed all loot rights.
  • Fix an issue which caused slow moving players to fly;
  • Text case should be largely corrected if you are using a non-default font (tool tips, descriptions, etc);
  • Text case for vendor items should return to normal (vs upper) if you are using a non-defaul font;
  • The item info window should now fit all weapon text (right click, show info for weapons with long names);
  • Blueprint info window will highlight parts you have in your inventory. Right click, show info, the parts you have should be green (player request);
  • Vendor search field will highlight when selected (player request)
  • Sort/drop now available in containers/gogo (player request);
  • GR window now shows current zone when the player is dead;
  • Updated english profession descriptions in character creation menu;
  • Fixed profession description scrollbar in character creation menu;
  • Added half and increment buttons to the item split window (when you drop items on the ground). Increment buttons increase/descrease by ~25%;
  • Added chat filtering for accidental spam (i.e. wwwwwww);
  • Fixed an issue which caused the game to crash when the client exceeds 2G of RAM (the cause of most crashes);
  • The .exe has its icon back;
  • Fixed rounding error, which made 100% opaque textures just 99.9% opaque;
  • Fixed several sRGB issues;
  • Fixed incorrect Actor-lighting;
  • Removed pixel alinments and driver preferences;
