The new Neocron Community Edition client has everything you need for a smooth installation and play experience. Rebuilt regularly to avoid a lengthy patch process, the new installer is designed to work with all modern Windows Operating Systems.

My system does not meet the minimum requirements above. Can i run Neocron?

Neocron may not run or will not function properly. In order to play the game without any problems, we suggest that users meet the recommended specifications.

My system only meet the minimum requirements

Set the graphics options of the game to the lowest levels to maintain smooth game play. You can change your settings through the Neocron-Launchers "Configuration-Button" and also while in-game.

I'm connecting through a Firewall / Router-Firewall. What Ports do i need?

To make sure your Firewall does not block any access to Neocron's services, turn it off for a short while and try to log into the game in that time. If you use a Firewall, make sure that the following ports are open for Neocron Community Edition (NeocronClient.exe):

TCP/IP: 7000, 8020, 8040, 12000, 13000

UDP: 6000, 6001, 5000 - 5016

There are more then one file to start the game. Which one should i use?

As you can start the game directly, we recommend you to use the Neocron-Launcher. The Neocron-Launcher is a handy tool packed with a lot of helpfull things. It will check for patches, let you connect to the fastest Loginserver available, or let you modify your settings.

The Launcher also shows all the latest News, Announcements, Dev-Blogs, Patch-Notes and the Server Status.

TITAN seems to be offline or unresponsive

Occasionaly the in game server list can erroneously show a server as "Offline". If there is no mention of downtime or service interuption in the launcher, simply ignore this status and attempt to connect as normal.
